Got spare time? Put it to work nearby.

Local businesses post short gigs. Remote workers offer their downtime. Every Monday we email each side the list they need, and introduce you when you reply.

Neighbors helping neighbors

Downtime Gigs connects local talent with local businesses, so the help stays in the community. That means you need to live in the same area as the businesses you work with. Pick your neighborhood when you sign up and we’ll only match you with people nearby.

Don’t see your city? Choose “My city isn’t listed” in the City list and we’ll email you when it opens.

You’ll get the workers version: gigs posted by businesses near you.

Your privacy

We only collect what we need to match you: your name, email, neighborhood (or city, if you join a waitlist), business name if you have one, and the skills, hours, gig preferences and notes you give us. We use it to send your Monday email and set up intros. We will never sell or rent your information to anyone, and we share your contact details only after both sides agree to an intro.
